Callpad

Write theses. Receive trading fees.

Overview

Callpad is a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, built on the Pons V2 launch protocol. Every token launched here shares its trading fees with the people who make the case for it: the authors of theses about the token on FOMO.

The creator decides at launch how the fees are split between themselves and thesis authors. That split is written into the token's own fee vault contract and can never be changed. From then on, Callpad scans FOMO every 5 minutes and pays thesis authors their share on-chain.

Launching a token

  • Name, ticker, image, description and links are stored on-chain in the token.
  • Dev buy. Every launch includes a buy by the creator in the same transaction that creates the token, so nobody can buy before the creator.
  • Anti-snipe. For the first seconds after launch, buyers other than the creator and any wallets the creator lists pay a steep, decaying tax set by Pons.
  • Fee vault. Each token gets its own fee vault contract, created automatically right after launch. No extra transaction for the creator.
  • Fee distribution. A slider sets the creator's share of the fees. The rest goes to thesis authors. At 100% creator, no thesis rewards are paid and Callpad does not track theses for the token.
  • Trade tax (optional). An extra tax on every buy and sell, on top of the base trading fee, up to the cap Pons allows. It is added to the fees the vault splits.

Supply is fixed at launch. There is no minting, and the creator cannot change the split or the tax later.

Launching on another site

Coins launched on another Pons V2 site can use Callpad too, from the Import page:

  • Prepare before launch. Connect the wallet you will launch from, pick the split and create a vault address. Set it as the coin's creator fee recipient on the other site and launch from the same wallet. Pons credits the fees to that address from the first trade; Callpad spots the launch, creates the vault and adds the coin to the payouts automatically.
  • Import after launch. The wallet that receives the coin's creator fees signs one transaction that points future fees to a new Callpad vault. The fees it earned before are collected to its Pons balance first, so they stay its own, and Pons buyback is turned off if it was on.

Either way it is permanent, only coins paired with ETH work, and the trade tax stays as set at launch. The other site must launch directly from your wallet; if it launches through its own contract, use "Import after launch".

Trading fees

Every trade pays the Pons trading fee, plus the creator's trade tax if one was set. Pons keeps its protocol share and credits the creator share to the token's Callpad fee vault, which is the token's creator fee recipient. The vault splits every payout by the launch split: the creator's share goes straight to the creator, and the rest forms the thesis pool.

Theses and attribution

A thesis is a post on FOMO about a specific token. Callpad matches theses to tokens by exact contract address on Robinhood Chain, never by name or ticker, and uses FOMO's own publish time.

The thesis pool is shared by trading volume:

  • Each trade's volume is divided among the theses published before it, so a trade is never counted more than once, however many theses there are.
  • Newer theses weigh more: a thesis's weight halves every 24 hours after it is published (weight = 2−age / 24h).
  • Each author's reward = pool × their attributed volume ÷ total attributed volume. All math is exact integer math.

Not counted:

  • the creator's own trades, and trades by a thesis author on their own thesis;
  • theses by the token's creator (FOMO's dev flag or the creator's wallet);
  • more than one thesis per author per token (the earliest counts);
  • theses removed from FOMO.

Likes, replies, followers and other engagement are not used.

If no thesis qualifies, the thesis pool is kept in the vault and carried into the next payout. It never goes to the creator.

Payouts every 5 minutes

Every 5 minutes Callpad:

  1. collects each token's pending trading fees from Pons into its fee vault;
  2. fetches the token's theses from FOMO;
  3. fetches the authors' FOMO profiles to get their EVM wallets;
  4. computes the split for all trades since the token's previous payout and sends the creator share and every thesis author's share on-chain in one vault transaction.

A token with no new fees is skipped. A payout waits if FOMO data or trade history is incomplete, so a thesis is never left out because of a slow or failing API. The fees stay in the vault until the data is complete.

Payouts are signed by Callpad's settler wallet. The vault contract enforces the split: the creator's share is computed on-chain, and a payout can never exceed the thesis pool.

Getting paid

Rewards go to the EVM wallet on your FOMO profile. Callpad pays a wallet only once it has verified it for that FOMO account.

  • Verified wallet: paid directly in every payout.
  • No wallet yet, or one that can't be verified: your reward is reserved in the vault under your FOMO identity. It is sent automatically once your wallet is verified.
  • Wallet that can't receive ETH: the payment is held in the vault. Claim it on the Rewards page.

Trading and graduation

Every token starts on a Pons V2 bonding curve and trades against ETH from its first block. The price rises as the curve sells. Once the sellable allocation sells out, the curve graduates: its ETH and remaining tokens seed a permanently locked Uniswap V4 pool. Fees keep flowing to the fee vault after graduation.

Market cap and volume are shown in USD at the current ETH price, for display only.

FAQ

Do I need to sign up to earn rewards?

No. Post a thesis on FOMO about a Callpad token and make sure your FOMO profile has an EVM wallet.

Can the creator change the split later?

No. It is fixed in the vault at launch.

Where do I see what I earned?

On the Rewards page (connect the wallet on your FOMO profile), and per token on each token page.

Why is a payout delayed?

Payouts wait until FOMO data and trade history are complete. The token page shows the status.
